BR 1-06: "What was it like?"

"I can't wait to take these closes off," and Biff. "I hate wearing this dress." Suddenly the magic key began to glow. The magic took the children off on another adventure. It took them back to a street in London. I've read "What was it like?" published from Oxford Reading Tree. Remember I said I might read different type of book this time? I guess that was a lie because, here I am reading the same type of book again. I promise I'll read different type of book next time.(If I remember to do that, though) So the story is simple, the children are practicing for a play related to the World War II. They don't know how they should act because they have never been in it. Then they go to that year that the war was happening. They learn what it feels like to be in that time and place. Hunt. BR 1-05: Egyptian Adventure

Suddenly, the magic key began to glow. The key took the children back in time. It took Floppy too. "It's not my day!" thought Floppy. "First, I get into trouble. Now, it's a magic adventure." I've read "Egyptian Adventure" published from Oxford Reading Tree. As always, I read The Magic Key series. But I didn't really like this one, because it was just talking nonsense. It's not perfect, so sometimes these kind of books are fine. I should start reading different books, so I might start reading new books next time. Hunt.R(2001) "Egyptian Adventure!". BR 1-04: "The Flying Carpet"

Suddenly, the magic key began to glow. Another adventure had began. This time Biff and Kipper were on a flying carpet. "This is a new kind of adventure," said Biff. "The carpet is coming with us."(p.9) I've read "The Flying Carpet" published from Oxford Reading Tree. Another Magic Key, you think? Yes, of course. These books are the only English books I enjoy reading in that library. So, this story was about carpet they had in Biff's house was old and teared, so they went to buy a new one. It's not actually new, they bought it from junk shop. They go on a magic adventure with the new carpet which somehow it can fly, and saves other people like always. BR 1-03: "Rescue!"

At last they came to a fort high up on a cliff. It had thick walls and heavy doors. "That's where Lisa is," said Aisha. "But how will you get her out of there?" asked Biff. "I'll think of something," said Aisha. "But keep out of sight." (p.10) I read "Rescue!" published from Oxford Reading Tree. So this story was about some kind of princess is trying to save her sister kidnapped by some random Arabian type of people (I don't actually know if they are Arabian people, I just thought they look like it.). This is very funny. So they get to the enemy's village, and say "I'll think of something"? Like really? No plan and going into the enemy's place. YOLO stile, man. But this book is for kids, and I shouldn't complain too much about it. Hunt.R(2001) "Rescue!". Oxford Reading Tree.
