BR 2-08: The Tree House

He was going to make something. He was going to make his own house, where anyone called Cleo was banned. All he had to do was to get to the back of the garage without walking on the wet concrete.  I read "The Tree House" published from Story Street. This book wasn't too short, so it had enough pages to put some side stories. It wasn't just about building the tree house. It had the story that he wanted to keep away his annoying sister, and him helping his stepfather to build new garage. I thought this story wasn't bad, but I thought the writer could have made it more sorted. There was so much information  scattered was hard to find what was what.  Strong, J (1988). The Tree House.

BR 2-07: The Great Escape

"Okay, it's all quiet," said Harry. "Give me that crowbar." He took the iron bar and slipped it under the chain and padlock on the main gates. With a sharp tug the chain snapped and the gates swung free. I read "The Great Escape" Published from Story Street. This story was about four boys unleashing all the animals in the City Farm. The whole city became chaos. Of course, in the end all the animals went back to the farm, and the boys were caught in the pig pen while they were running away from ostrich. But they never explained what happened later. Its a short book, so it ends like this. Strong, J(1988). The Great Escape.
